Cognitive Walkthrough is one of the method of expert assessing usability. During the test an analyst does some defined tasks simulating user’s behaviour. The aim of Cognitive Walkthrough is to test the continuity of the process not each part of the website as opposed to heuristic analysis.

Cognitive Walkthrough is used as a method complementary to heuristic analysis and to prepare to user tests.
