Mobile Web at Barcamp 7.1

The Ideacto co-founders are engaged in the organization of Barcamp 7.1 initiative. Next meeting is on 28th of October at 5p.m. in the conference room in Radisson SAS hotel in Wrocław. The meeting treats Mobile Web issues. During the meeting a new Biznes 2.0 publication will be presented – “Mobile Web 2.0 Course. How to use mobile communication effectively”.

The programme is very interesting: from Jacek Jankowski from AdAction you can learn about mobile entertainment and Wojciech Kuśmierek from UseLab is telling about the recent research on using mobile information sources. Grzegorz Jabłoński is presenting the untold story of functioning of Belysio – the mobile service of Wrocław.  Bartłomiej Zass from Microsoft Poland is presenting a mobile strategy of the company; another vision of functioning of the mobile Internet is presented by a representative from Opera. You can also find out how mobile technologies are used by two Polish joint-stock companies: Agora and Gadu-Gadu which representatives (Dominik Kaznowski and Bogusław Kowalik) are having presentation at the meeting.

Also “Mobile Web 2.0 Course. How to use mobile communication effectively” which is the first publication of Biznes 2.0 book series treats mobile issues. It will have its premiere at the BarCampu 7.1. The authors of the Course are Dominik Kaznowski (Agora S.A.) and Piotr Baranowski (PasjaGSM.pl).

There will be also a less official part of the meeting for exchanging opinions and impressions and making interesting acquaintances in smaller groups.

The organizer of BarCamp 7.1meetings is Biznes 2.0 – a company that focuses on knowledge sharing by barcamps, conferences and e-publishing. The first BarCamp 7.1 meeting took place on 25th of September 2008 and treated interactive entertainment. There were over 250  participants.
